Let's Eat

Here's my twist on this Green Salad with Apples & Toasted Walnuts:

Original Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup walnut pieces
2 Granny Smith or other tart apples, cored, halved and thinly sliced
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons minced shallot
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper
1/3 cup olive oil
8 cups mixed salad greensMy Version of a fruity, nutty salad....(I made this for Thanksgiving and Teacher Appreciation Day last year)

Ingredients
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 Anjou pear, thinly sliced and cored
1/4 cup Kraft Raspberry Vinaigrette
1/2 candied walnuts
8 cups Spinach leaves

so yummy!!!
(Thanks to easy-french-food.com for my picture, i'm having camera issues tonight, this picture has a bartlett pear I use an Anjou pear in my salad)

I love a pear salad! Claim Jumper has a good one- at least they used to, its been a few years since I have had it!
