Welp! Good news, Chris decided to come home sooner (yay!) so now it's only 20 more days until I see him! Woohoo! Im so giddy! On a sad note, I just wanted to mention those lost in the helicopter crash in Cali yesterday, my heart just brakes because that could have been my husband or someone from his crew. I am grateful it wasn't but I am so sad for the families of the fallen heroes. What a huge sacrifice. They were a company based out of Merlin,Oregon. So my prayers & love go out to each of them & their families. This is one proud wife of a wildland firefighter! God Bless them all!

That is so sad about that crash. My heart goes out to those people as well. I am so happy for you that your husband gets to come home soon. You are brave to let him go fight those fires. I would like to say thank you to all those who fight the fires.
